Beyond the forest

the skyscrapers -- Mies van der Rohe´s

visions --

tower

with the optimism

of a war's first days

--

the forest itself -- an inferno

in the atavistic mind --

simply threatens

to come alive

--

two survivors

are trapped

on the no man's land between:

bird creatures with useless wings

refugees

from the human

--

they stare at us -- their blank faces

ontological mirrors

silvered

with the void

--
